Judge J. Randall Wyatt, Jr.

Criminal Court, Division II

 

Judge Randall Wyatt is a 1964 graduate of Middle Tennessee State University and received his J.D. degree from Vanderbilt University Law School in 1966. A former Metro police officer, Special Agent of the F.B.I., and Assistant District Attorney, Judge Wyatt was elected to the General Sessions bench in 1974. In 1982, Judge Wyatt was elected Judge of Division II, Criminal Court, a post to which he has been twice re-elected. Judge Wyatt has served as Presiding Judge of both the General Sessions and Trial Courts, and as a member of the Tennessee Court of the Judiciary. Active in the Tennessee Judicial Conference and the Nashville Bar Association, Judge Wyatt was honorably discharged from the United States Marine Corps in 1959 with the rank of Sergeant.

 

Married to Kay Kohl Wyatt, Judge Wyatt has five children and five grandchildren.
